As part of their reading workshop the entire 4th grade at Belmont Elementary participated in a Book Tasting event. Students sampled several different types of genres, then rated their books and answered questions.
Student’s in the library Maker Space use different materials in order to build the tallest tower. They needed to think like an engineer to get their creation to new heights!
Battle of the Books is underway at the Belmont and W. E. DeLuca Libraries!!! Student’s at both schools are participating in this interactive virtual event. Stay tuned to learn which book is our picture book champion!!!!!
What to do with a box? Reuse it!!!! Student’s in the Belmont library gave new life to old boxes. They were transformed into football stadiums, basketball nets and so much more.
It’s a marble maze craze in the library!!! Student’s used recyclable materials to design and build a marble run. The excitement was palpable as marbles were dropped into the top of the mazes and successfully reached the end.
