Art Comes to Life at DeLuca Elementary School

Students at William E. DeLuca Elementary School recently had the opportunity to experience a special in-school art show featuring artwork selected for the districtwide Art Show.

Throughout the exhibit, classes visited the gallery-style display to celebrate the creativity, talent and accomplishments of their fellow student artists. As they explored the artwork, students participated in an interactive scavenger hunt focused on identifying the Elements of Art found throughout the displayed pieces.

The experience provided students with opportunities to engage in hands-on art activities, explore different artistic techniques and styles, and practice using art vocabulary in a meaningful way. The event encouraged careful observation, creative thinking and a deeper appreciation for the many ways artists express themselves.
