North Babylon High School Virtual Enterprise students joined together with more than 1,000 students from across Long Island at Lynbrook High School on March 19 to present their fully developed business ideas at the annual Virtual Enterprise Trade Show.

The event featured more than 70 Virtual Enterprise firms representing 45 school districts. The gymnasium was transformed into a vibrant marketplace, with students creating eye-catching displays and interactive experiences to promote their products and attract potential investors for their simulated businesses. As part of their Virtual Enterprise coursework, students collaborate to build a business from concept to final pitch, taking on roles found in real-world companies such as presidents, marketing specialists, website managers and designers.

Representing North Babylon, students introduced their company, Vapor Tech, whose featured product is a condensation cover designed to improve driver visibility, save time and enhance road safety. The product is also made using sustainable materials, reflecting a focus on innovation and environmental responsibility.

Throughout the event, students engaged in networking opportunities, connected with peers from other schools and practiced essential business skills, including presenting sales pitches, managing finances and working collaboratively as a team.

Vapor Tech earned silver recognition in professionalism and generated more than $350,000 in simulated sales, marking a successful and rewarding experience for the students. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to apply classroom learning in a real-world setting while developing skills that will benefit them in future academic and professional pursuits.
