Marion G. Vedder Elementary Celebrates 100 Days of Learning

Posted Date: 02/23/26 (12:00 AM)

Prekindergarten, kindergarten and first grade students celebrated the 100th day of instruction at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School on Feb. 10. It was a fun-filled day of learning with activities centered around the number 100.

Dressed as centenarians, students embraced the milestone by participating in a variety of creative and educational lessons. They wrote stories and drew pictures imagining what they might be like at 100 years old, encouraging both creativity and reflection.

Throughout the day, students also counted to 100, completed 100 exercises and created necklaces using 100 Fruit Loops, helping reinforce math skills through hands-on activities. The celebration made learning interactive and memorable while highlighting how much students have grown and learned over the first 100 days of school.
