Young Meteorologists Experiment with Rain Clouds
Kindergartners in Ms. Jodi Rebholz’s and Ms. Erica Castaldo’s classes at William E. DeLuca Elementary School recently transformed into young scientists and meteorologists during an exciting hands-on weather lesson. Students explored weather patterns and seasonal changes while learning how clouds form and produce rain. As part of the activity, they made predictions about how much water a “cloud” could hold before it rained, then tested their ideas through a simple experiment. The interactive lesson helped bring science concepts to life and allowed students to apply their learning in a fun, real-world way.
