Two High School Students Nominated for VE Conference
Two students from North Babylon High School’s Virtual Enterprise program – Ciella Alvarez and Chelsea Ceballos – have been nominated to attend the Winning Futures Leadership Conference in New York City on Dec. 11.
This prestigious recognition highlights the students’ exceptional leadership, creativity and business acumen demonstrated through their work in the VE firm. The annual conference brings together some of the most promising young business leaders from across the region, offering them the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and engage in high-level networking and leadership sessions.
“This is a significant honor and a direct reflection of the dedication and business sense these two students have demonstrated within our VE program,” said Amy Michalopoulos, coordinator of mathematics and business, grades 6-12. “We are incredibly proud to have North Babylon represented at this professional event. This experience will be invaluable for our students, reinforcing the real-world connections between their business studies and their future career goals.”
