A North Babylon Legend: Press Box Dedication for Tony DeChristopher: Nov. 1

Next Saturday, November 1st, at 9:00 AM, the press box at North Babylon High School will be dedicated to the voice of North Babylon from 1969 to 2003, Tony DeChristopher.

Mr. DeChristopher was a respected and loved Social Studies teacher for over 30 years, as well as the announcer for all North Babylon home football games during that time and even beyond retirement.

We can’t think of a more fitting way to honor him than by naming the press box after him. The dedication will take place during the JV game on the turf field, as the Varsity Bulldogs will be away for their last regular season game.

Members of the DeChristopher family will be in attendance. We invite the community to come out and support this honorable and historic event in recognition of Mr. D — The Voice of North Babylon.
