Students Honored at May Board of Education Meeting

At the May 29 Board of Education meeting, North Babylon School District recognized students for their many achievements throughout the school year.
North Babylon’s Director of Physical Education, Health Education, Recreation and Athletics Jason Friesen honored Jenna Biondo and Joseph Licata, who were named Outstanding Physical Education students by the Suffolk Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. This prestigious award honors senior students who exemplify exceptional physical performance, scholarship, character, leadership, and citizenship.
North Babylon’s Director of Fine Arts Elizabeth O’Brien, along with many of the district’s art teachers, recognized student-artists from all grade levels for their many achievements this school year in art shows and competitions across Long Island.
