Budget Vote PSA

Students in the North Babylon High School Television Broadcasting class recently produced an exclusive interview with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth Graham to discuss the upcoming school budget vote and a change in the polling location. Under the guidance of their teacher James Avila, the student-led production showcased their skills both on and off camera. Ayden Sproul was the on-air interviewer, while Myriam Abbas worked the switchboard, Gabriel Rivera ran the sound/teleprompter, Joshua Castelli produced the graphics and Milani Russell and Kasey Ferris were operating the camera.

MGV Students Close Out Unit with Mexican Crafts

Third graders at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School recently completed their social studies unit on Mexico. Throughout the last month, students have learning all about the country by researching and reading books. To complete the unit, students created maracas and pinatas on Cinco de Mayo. The classes will join together for a culminating luncheon celebration.
