Budget Vote PSA

Students in the North Babylon High School Television Broadcasting class recently produced an exclusive interview with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth Graham to discuss the upcoming school budget vote and a change in the polling location. Under the guidance of their teacher James Avila, the student-led production showcased their skills both on and off camera. Ayden Sproul was the on-air interviewer, while Myriam Abbas worked the switchboard, Gabriel Rivera ran the sound/teleprompter, Joshua Castelli produced the graphics and Milani Russell and Kasey Ferris were operating the camera.

North Babylon Students Honored with Suffolk Zone Awards

North Babylon School District student-athletes from the district’s five elementary schools and Robert Moses Middle School were recently honored with Suffolk Zone Awards for Outstanding Elementary Middle School Physical Education Leadership by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

Congratulations to the following recipients: Robert Moses Middle School – Daniel Oliphant and Victoria Pavone; Marion G. Vedder Elementary School ­– Kamryn Gotta and Thiago Vasquez; Belmont Elementary School – Austin Jones and Layla Quintana; Parliament Place Elementary School: Jacob Ortiz and Luz Candelario; Woods Road Elementary School: Milton Barber Jr. and Lily Clarke; and William E. DeLuca Elementary School: Brayden Romano and Lailani Crews.
