North Babylon High School senior Spiros Manolas has been named a Commended Student in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. About 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are recognized for their exceptional performance on the qualifyingtest used for entry. Although they will not continue to the 2023 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, they placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2023 competition by taking the 2021 PSAT.
