Throughout the district, kindergarten students are settling into their new routines, eager to
learn. The kindergartners are working on letter sounds and identification. Colors, shapes,
cutting, sorting and gluing are also new skills many of the students are mastering during
their first month of school. Many of the classes also celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by
learning about the different flags and colors of other countries.
