Ninth grade bilingual student Hanna Nogacka extraordinary artwork is featured on the cover of the book Powijaki by Polish author, Janusz Skrzeczyński. It all started when Hanna’s grandmother, proud of her granddaughter’s artwork, shared it on her Facebook page. Skrzeczyński came across the pictures and knew that one of them, in particular, would be perfect to grace the cover of his book. Hanna loves to draw and is a very talented artist!

translated description of the book if you are curious:

Behind the slightly perverse title of the book "Powijaki" there are the fates of three generations of several Polish and American families, their mutual relations, inherited behaviors and customs, often unknowingly leaving a mark on the emerging, immature characters of their children. The book, the action of which begins in the 1950s in parallel in Poland and the USA, tells about the effects of possessive love and upbringing under the control of a parental absolute, which leaves painful tears in the psyche wrapped in swaddling clothes for life. Describing the events that dramatically change the course of the characters' lives, the author carries out his narrative in a quasi-philosophical dimension, leaving the reader alone with the emerging questions about the meaning of life, the role of religion in it and the power of love.
