Student smiling making a snowman out of baking soda and hair conditioner

It was snowing both indoors and outdoors on Jan. 19 as the kindergarten students in Ms. Rebholz’s class at William E. DeLuca Elementary School created their own snow during a hands-on science lesson. As part of their science curriculum, the students are learning all about different weather conditions. The students used baking soda and hair conditioner to create “snow” and tried their very best to make their own snowmen. While the homemade snow wasn’t quite as sticky, the students were still happy to create their own one-of-a-kind snowman designs.
