Two students smiling at the camera

Mrs. Rebholz’s kindergarten class at William E. DeLuca Elementary School is studying the water cycle, rain and rainbows. During their recent hands-on STEM experiments, the students made it rain in a plastic cup. In another experiment, the students learned about rainbows and created their own rainbows using Skittles candies and different colored markers. The young scientists were curious, enthusiastic and accomplished. They used their new science vocabulary words including evaporation, precipitation, and collection for the water cycle.
