Maureen Hull & Danica Meehan

Effective Jan. 2, North Babylon School District has named two new members to its administrative team. Danica Meehan has joined the district as a school lunch manager, replacing Mark Sabella. Maureen Hull has been named interim director of English Language Arts, replacing Dana Musso.

Ms. Meehan joins North Babylon from Harborfields Central School District, where she served as food service director since 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a site manager/registered dietitian/outreach coordinator for Stony Brook’s WIC Program from 2018-2022. Ms. Meehan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from SUNY Stony Brook and Bachelor of Science degree from LIU/Post in nutrition and dietetics. 

Ms. Hull currently works as an adjunct professor at SUNY Stony Brook since 2019. She previously served as assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for Elwood Union Free School District from 2016 until her retirement in January 2023. Ms. Hull holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bard College and a master’s degree in music education from LIU/Post. She also holds a doctorate in educational administration from St. John’s University.
