North Babylon High School economics students had a firsthand lesson in banking thanks to a visit from Lael Daniel, vice president for Chase Bank. Mr. Daniel spoke with students about the functions of a bank, why people use banks and other services Chase offers. Mr. Daniel works in the community business development division of Chase and was able to answer students’ questions about personal finance and college planning in addition to various functions of the banking industry. Mr. Daniel spent four days at North Babylon High School speaking to students.
