Second grade students from Marion G. Vedder Elementary School had a trip to see their art on display at the Long Island Children’s Museum. The students have their artwork on display in March in the community art gallery. Art teacher Mrs. Gregorek had the students create artwork based upon the story “Draw Me a Star” by Eric Carle. The students from Mrs. Kruescher’s and Ms. Milidantri’s classes used crayons, markers and watercolor paint to create the beautiful art pieces display in the museum.
