Kevin Chicas, violinist and senior at North Babylon High School, made it to the finalist round of the Music Lovers Club Scholarship Competition. He was awarded a $100 scholarship for his performance of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3, Mvt 1 and Wieniawski's Legende Op.17. Kevin was one of only 10 high school senior finalists who took part in the Music Lovers Club Competition Concert on Feb. 26 at Islip United Methodist Church judged by outside professional musicians.
