First graders at Woods Road Elementary School have been studying Hispanic Heritage throughout October. The students learned about the flags from the different Spanish- speaking countries. They even translated their fall sight words into Spanish. The first graders also created projects about different foods, places they have visited, movies and more that tied into Hispanic heritage.
