Good evening DeLuca Families,
Earlier today our fire alarm system was triggered resulting in an evacuation.
Fortunately, the alarm was set off from a burned piece of bread and nothing more. The NBFD responded promptly and quickly cleared the building within minutes of the alarm, allowing our day to continue as normal.
In addition to wanting to keep you informed, I also hope you will take this opportunity to let your children know just how very proud we all are of how well they conducted themselves today. All students quickly and safely exited the building and followed the directions of staff members without question. Please make a point of letting them know what a great job they did!
