RMMS participated in Unity Day October 18th! October is National Bullying Prevention Month and Unity Day is recognized each October. Students and staff were all encouraged to wear orange. Students were given orange Unity Tickets and asked to complete 3 acts of unity over the last few weeks, showing KINDNESS, ACCEPTANCE and INCLUSION. Students turned in their Unity Tickets during their lunch periods. They were asked to share about one of their acts of unity and get one of their nails painted orange. Students and staff were also interviewed by CBS reporter Jenna DeAngelis. Let's continue to show KINDNESS, ACCEPTANCE and INCLUSION throughout the rest of the year! Unity Day Channel 2 News
