Dear Parents/Guardians of 10th graders:
The College Board recently released your child’s electronic PSAT/NMSQT score report. On January 4th, the Guidance Department will be going into 10th grade English classes to assist students in accessing and interpreting their PSAT scores. Previously, students created their College Board accounts and using that, they can view their scores on www.studentscores.college.org. Students also will have access to an interactive score report where they can examine areas of strength and areas of focus for future examination preparation. During the course of this meeting, students will also receive information about Wilson Tech and a permission form for an upcoming field trip opportunity. This form needs to be completed and returned by January 6th if your child would like to attend the January 12th field trip to Wilson Tech.

Method Test Prep test preparation resources offer free online programs to NBHS students AND discounted in-person test preparation classes here at North Babylon High School. These courses are typically taken during junior year.https://www.methodlearning.com/
During the classroom visits, the Guidance Department will demonstrate how each student can link results to a free customized KHAN Academy Test Prep. https://www.khanacademy.org/.
The Naviance website assists in guiding NBHS students to discover paths after high school that lead to fulfilling and meaningful careers. Naviance has extensive resources related to both college and careers. https://www.naviance.com/.
