Our MGV 5th Grade visited The Holocaust Memorial Tolerance Center in Glen Cove this week. It was a powerful and important experience allowing the students to learn about the devastating impact of the Holocaust and the lessons that can be learned from it. The Center encourages students to learn about the Holocaust so that we can all work together towards creating a better world, one that is free from hate and prejudice. The center promotes a message of tolerance and acceptance.
