Last Friday evening, the North Babylon SEPTA hosted its annual Trunk or Treat, giving children and families in our community a safe and festive way to show off their Halloween costumes, enjoy some spooky fun, and collect toys and treats.
The Special Education team really got into the Halloween spirit! Teachers, related service providers, parents, and administrators came together with creatively decorated trunks, costumes, and plenty of treats. It was especially wonderful for several of us who are new to the district-including administrators Mark Mihopulos, Cheryl Lippert, and Jessica Prush, along with Elementary Special Education Coordinator Courtney Lazarus to be part of such a welcoming community event so early in the school year.
Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating with our students and families, enjoying the creative costumes and decorations, and dancing along with the DJ. It was a great evening of community, connection, and Halloween fun!
