Spring Science in Action

Fifth grade students from Mrs. Bates and Ms. Schoberl's class joined Mrs. Rebholz's kindergarten class at William E. DeLuca Elementary School for a special spring science lesson focused on the life cycle of a butterfly. The older students did a wonderful job guiding and supporting their kindergarten partners as they explored each stage of development, from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly.
Together, students created a colorful butterfly craft to conclude the lesson, making the experience both educational and engaging. The activity provided a meaningful opportunity for cross-grade collaboration, hands-on learning, and the development of new friendships between students.
