Nomination of Candidates to the Board of Education

Nominating petitions to become a member of the Board of Education should be returned to the District Clerk not later than Monday, April 17, 2023 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm. Please note that Schools and Administrative offices are closed from Monday, April 3rd to Monday Apr 10, 2023
Vacancies on the Board of Education are not considered separate, specific offices; the candidates run at large.
The nominating petition must be directed to the District Clerk and must be signed by at least 27 qualified voters of the District (representing the greater of 2% of the number of voters who voted in the 2022 annual election); must state the name and residence of each signer, and, must state the name and residence of the candidate. However, it is encouraged to collect more than 27 signature.
Residents will elect Three (3) trustees to the Board of Education as follows:
Three (3) members of the Board of Education for a three (3)-year term commencing July 1, 2023, and expiring on June 30, 2026
Register to vote at the District Clerk's Office by 4 p.m. on May 11, 2023.
