Good morning North Babylon School District Parents and Families,
We are thankful to the students, families, and staff of the North Babylon School District for the amazing start to the school year that we have had. This fall we have seen our students engaged in classroom lessons, attending to their academic studies, preparing for musical concerts and performances, writing, researching, problem solving, competing on the athletic fields, and leading community service work. We truly have so much to be thankful for here in the North Babylon School District community, and we are very thankful for the opportunities that our community provides for our students.
Hopefully this long Holiday weekend will be an opportunity for you to relax and recharge as you celebrate and give thanks with family and friends. Should you have the time, we invite you to visit our website and social media feeds to learn more about everything taking place throughout our schools. In addition to these communication outlets, we also have a district app (North Babylon Union Free School District). The app is located on the App Store and Google Play.
Please take a moment to review the important letter attached related to free breakfast and lunch for all students. We are pleased to share that due to the expanded access to the free meal program, that all North Babylon students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch starting on December 1, 2023.
Lastly, our County Champion Varsity Football team is playing in the Long Island Championship this Saturday at noon. Please join us at Stony Brook University if you are able to attend. Tickets may be purchased online at https://gofan.co/app/school/NYSPHSAAXI. Please join us in wearing NB/Bulldog gear to school this Wednesday in a show of school spirit and support for the team.
