Voter registration, military and absentee ballots

Voter Registration:
Qualified voters may register any school day in the office of the District Clerk, 5 Jardine Place,
North Babylon, NY 11703 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.  The deadline to register is
May 10, 2022.  This registration will only allow registrants to vote in the School District Election.
Qualified voters may also register with the Suffolk County Board of Elections. Registration
forms are available at the offices of Suffolk County Board of Elections - (631) 852-4500. 

Absentee Ballots
Absentee Ballot Applications may be obtained from the Central Office, 5 Jardine Place, North
Babylon, NY 11703 or by clicking below. Ballots will be issued upon satisfactory completion and
submission of the application form.
In accordance with Education Law § 2018-a, absentee ballot applications may not be submitted
more than 30 days before the election. Therefore, absentee ballot applications cannot be
accepted by the District prior to April 18, 2022.

Military Ballots
Military voters may request an application for a military ballot from the District Clerk in person,
by mail to 5 Jardine Place, North Babylon, New York 11703, by email to
districtclerk@northbabylonschools.net or fax sent to 631-321-3295. In such a request, the
military voter may indicate their preference for receiving the application by mail, fax or email
no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 21, 2022.
A military voter’s original military ballot must be returned by mail or in person to the office of
the District Clerk at 5 Jardine Place, North Babylon, New York 11703 by 5pm on May 17, 2022
