On Thursday, the community of North Babylon came out to view over 750 artworks around Phelps Lane Pond. Art lovers of all ages enjoyed photography, watercolor, paintings, drawings and mixed media pieces created by students throughout the District. Best in Show Awards went to Mia Bacchi and Dafnelis Dwyer, and the Directors Award was presented to Shannon Reilly for her wildflower watercolor. Superintendent of Schools Glen Eschbach recognized Vincent Maio with the Superintendent's Award and Supervisor Rich Schaffer awarded Angela Shi his special award.
