The North Babylon High School Concert Band took home a Gold rating at the NYSSMA Majors Festival held at Walt Whitman High School recently. The 100 member band was evaluated on pitch and rhythmic accuracy as well and blend, balance, musicianship and presentation. A gold rating is awarded only to ensembles that demonstrate an "outstanding level of technical and artistic skill." Congratulations to the band on this accomplishment!
