Full – Time Elementary Social Worker
Grant Funded
Experienced with individual, small group counseling, parent training and crisis intervention
Assist with mental health and behavioral concerns plus positive behavioral support
Provide consistent communication with parents, teachers and other staff
Support students and families by providing referrals and work with outside agencies
Able to work within an interdisciplinary team and knowledge of MTSS interventions
Knowledge of CSE and 504 processes. Working knowledge of DASA and McKinney-Vento
Ability to support social-emotional learning initiatives/Ruler/classroom SEL
(Appropriate and valid NYS School Social Worker certification required)
Bilingual Preferred
