North Babylon High School students were honored with the wonderful opportunity
to perform in the Long Island String Festival Association Chamber Festival on March 20.
Selected students were Gavin Aquino, Ashley Campos, Wilensky Coleau, Spencer
Mace and Amanda Quintanilla. They were coached by members of the Bryant Park
Chamber Players and performed Mozart’s Quintet K515 Mvt3 in this year’s concert at the
Staller Center for the Arts at Stony Brook University.
The LISFA hosts festivals throughout the year in Suffolk and Nassau counties. The
organization brings together Long Island string teachers, students, parents and conductors
to support and celebrate the power of music.
The District applauds these students and is proud of the hard work they contribute
to their musical talents.
