MGV Supports Ride for Life!

 MGV and The Long Island Ducks

Our 4th Grade Select Chorus led by Mrs. Dellosso sang God Bless America at a recent Ducks Game!

                                       Recycle and Reuse!                        

  Mrs. Kreuscher's Class is helping out our environment by recycling plastic and learning about other ways to keep our planet green.

Brookhaven Labs

Our 4th graders took a very educational trip to the Brookhaven Labs to work on experiments regarding magnets, circuits and levers.

MGV would walk a mile for the
Babylon Animal Shelter and we did!

All our students and staff, some carrying pictures of their pets, 
walked a mile or more in support of the Babylon Animal Shelter.
Our SBMT organized this event and the students as well as staff
collected pledges for this walk that totaled over $1600!

Brookhaven National Labs Elementary Science Fair

After all our students KIC Projects were presented and judged, one student from Grades 2,3,4 and 5 was selected go on to represent MGV at the Brookhaven National Labs annual Elementary Science Fair on

Saturday May 4, 2013.

MGV's New Sign!!!

Special thanks to the Site Based Management Team who organized various fundraisers last school year and whose proceeds went to the purchase of this beautiful new sign. They couldn't have done it without the support of the entire MGV School Community who came out and supported these special fundraising events. We plan to use the sign to let everyone know about the wonderful things that are happening at MGV!

Long Island Children's Museum
