Dear Parents and Community,

Last evening, Tuesday, November 27, 2012, the North Babylon Board of Education voted to use four days of the February recess to make up for school days missed due to Hurricane Sandy.  New York State Education Department mandates that school be in session a minimum of 180 days.  In order to reach that number of days, our District must make up four (4) missed school days.  Therefore, all schools will be open Tuesday, February 19 – Friday, February 22, 2013.  Schools will be closed Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 18, 2013.

More specific information will be forthcoming.
