Safety Alert from the New York State Department of Education

The district was recently informed by the New York State Education Department that they received an anonymous email threatening violence to nonspecific state buildings and school buses. This notification was state wide and not directed at any specific school district. Our school security and transportation departments are aware of this and will remain vigilant in their efforts to ensure the safety of our schools and buses.
