Four High School students had their artwork on display in the seventh annual Suffolk County Art Leaders Association All-County and Scholarship Show. The show is sponsored by SCALA and Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts. Art teachers and directors whose districts are institutional members of SCALA are eligible to exhibit their students work in the show and scholarship competition.

Student participants were ninth-graders Mia Bacchi and Shane Halleran, and 12th-graders Zoe Hartmann and Evgenia Kennedy. For the All-County portion of the show, each student was selected by their teacher based on their skill, creativity and dedication to the arts.

Zoe was chosen to participate in the senior scholarship portion of the show since she is a graduating senior and will be pursuing art in college. With that, Zoe was given the opportunity to display three pieces of artwork and write an essay about what inspires her as an artist.
