250 Orchestra Students in Grades 5-12 will present a rock concert on Wednesday, March 14th at 7pm in the NBHS auditorium.  The concert is the culmination of a two day residency with electric violinist and music education advocate Mark Wood.  Wood is a founding member of Trans-Siberian Orchestra and plays with artists such as Lenny Kravitz and Celine Dion.  Admission to the concert is free and seating is unreserved.

There will be a raffle tonight for an autographed electic violin.  Raffle tickets will be sold $5 each, 4 for $20.  The violin has been donated by Music and Arts stores. Proceed from the raffle will benefit the PASA Helen Badr Memorial Scholarship which provides a full tuition scholarship to one student for summer study at the Usdan Center.

Students will be rehearsing from 3-6pm.  At 6pm, they break for dinner to prepare for the 7pm concert.  Our thanks to PASA for organizing and serving the dinner, as well as donating water bottles to the children throughout the day's events.
