In honor of International Human Rights Day, fifth-graders at Parliament Place wore decorative T-shirts that they created and participated in a silent march as a culminating event to their lessons about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The fifth-graders depicted a variety of the 30 Articles, while students in lower grades around the school watched them march. The activity served as a way for the students to learn, promote, protect and reaffirm these human rights with their peers.
