"It’s time to pledge allegiance to the band!”

The NORTH BABYLON HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND  would like to test your head... and your mind... and your brain, too  by featuring music from the current broadway musical and classic movie,  “The School of Rock!”

“The band is under the leadership of Band Director, Frank Rizzo, Assistant band Director, Jay Orig, Kickline Co-Advisors, Laura Gmelch and Nicole Raymond. Drill design was written by Frank Rizzo.”

“Under the field direction of Drum Majors, Abraham Pierre, Alex Iacono and Christine Saturno, the band will open with  “Smoke on the Water from Deep Purple.” (PAUSE)

“The band would like to give special thanks to the following student officers,  for all their help during rehearsals and behind the scenes:

Angelina Prevete, Keiara Salamon, Brayden Joyce, Jason Okanlawan,  Mateo Steiner, Haggai Anglade, Emily Michele, Karen Thomson,  Jacob LeFluer, Sydney Walsh, Donnie Artis and Peter Murphy.

“The band would like to feature the North Babylon Kickline  dancing to Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song”. Our Kickline Captains this year are  Casey Carbonaro and Julia Ferranto.” (PAUSE)

The Band will also be performing "Touch Me" by the Doors and "School's Out" by Alice Cooper.

Tickets are on sale for this Newsday Marching Festival at Mitchell Atheletic Complex on Wednesday, Oct. 19th at 7 pm.. Tickets are $10 and can be bought in the Band Room from Mr. Rizzo. Call 6210-7139 for more information.
