With their school supplies purchased and their book bags packed, the students in the North Babylon School District didn’t let a little rain dampen their excitement over the start of a new school year. Greeted by the encouraging smiles of administrators, teachers, faculty and staff, the day was highlighted with introductions, classroom assignments, and planning for the academic year ahead.
