This is Superintendent of Schools Patricia Godek with an announcement for Belmont Elementary Parents. This morning at 9:07 am students were briefly evacuated from the building due to a fire alarm set off by a malfunctioning steam trap in the area of the custodian’s office. Students were sheltered on buses. The fire department was present and declared the building safe for students to return. The students were returned to the building at 9:30 am.  Instruction will continue as normal. There is no danger. Once again thank you for your understanding.
