NBHS freshman completes FBI program

High school freshman Margaret McKeever completed the Federal Bureau of Investigation Teen Academy, a program hosted by the New York field office of the FBI.

McKeever was nominated and chosen to participate in the highly selective four-day program. Her grade point average, an essay and her community involvement helped her earn acceptance.

The FBI Teen Academy program teaches students about the mission of the FBI and the roles of its various divisions, including counterterrorism, intelligence, counterintelligence and administrative. It is a hands-on program and offers the opportunity to learn from agents in the field about investigative tactics, including gathering evidence and solving cases.
