“And a one and a two...” There were hands clapping, feet dancing, notes flying and a good time had by all. That was the jazz buzz at the Spangle Drive Senior Center on May 27th, thanks to the North Babylon High School Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Rizzo. The performance started off with Carolyn M. singing the Star Spangled Banner and then the twenty member band played on. This is always an enjoyable annual tradition for the band as they culminate their season of good music and lasting memories. The event ended with the band playing the traditional Glenn Miller arrangement of “In the Mood”. But we know the band will be back next year to play ... “one more time!”
