The High School’s 12th grade economics curriculum has been focused on personal financial literacy, during which students spent a semester obtaining the knowledge to make more informed financial decisions.

The social studies department invited financial planners to talk to the students about key facts needed to start a solid financial future as part of the charge to provide financial literacy information for students. They were taught lessons on how to use credit cards to boost credit score and not fall into debt, and how to pay for college or trade school without incurring huge student loan bills. They were given advice on goal setting, saving and investing their money.
